In the past few weeks, I have encountered the need to have experience of the wonderland that is Outlook. I have nearly 20 years of office work experience and have never had the need to use this particular package. Every large organisation that I have ever worked for used other email packages. My last employer was a Google lover and I believe them to be followers of fashion (in an I.T. and innovation sense).
Words Angel uses Google for email, document storage, creating documents and many other functions. I have seen the Outlook system being used. I believe it looks clunky and outdated. Can anyone tell me why such importance is placed on having a working knowledge of Outlook when there are so many alternatives available?
